Jean-Luc is a very successful, experienced, native, French tutor who has been teaching in person French conversation skills in the New York Metropolitan Area since 1986. He is now also offering interactive, video  private and semi private sessions via Skype, Zoom or Facetime.

Over the last 35 years, Jean-Luc has taught French language skills to many hundreds of students of all ages and levels and coached them TO ACHIEVE THEIR FRENCH FLUENCY GOALS IN RECORD TIME.

It does not matter if you are a total beginner or an experienced conversationalist, Jean-Luc will tailor a program just for you and address your particular language needs with state of the art techniques and a fun filled program. From 21st century vocabulary and literature to basic grammar, comprehension problems and spontaneity blocks, Jean-Luc has lessons for everything.

What are interactive classes with Jean-Luc like?

The most important part of class is to actually practice what we learn in a weekly (most students take one hour a week, some take twice a week, some take twice a month) private conversation with Jean-Luc himself engaging with you, correcting and advising you. On line, he uses the chat feature as a black board as well as written exercises, assignments and interactive tools depending on your needs. We focus on comprehension, pronunciation, contemporary vocabulary, grammar, culture, idioms, texts, videos, understanding movies, literature etc.

Periodic reviews of covered material will consolidate your progress.
